I have been a serious player of West African Drums and percussion for over 10 years. 

I apprenticed with Malika in Kentish Town when the Djembe was making a big impact with the London scene during 1995.  I have played and re-skinned hundreds of djembe drums and have learned what makes a good drum.  

I have sourced all of the instruments myself making sure that the drums are from sustainable re - sources originating from African villages, not cheap machine made products.
